Ekkamai Bus Terminal is one of Bangkok's most accessible bus stations, located directly on Sukhumvit Road and served by BTS Ekkamai station. From central Bangkok hotels on Sukhumvit, the terminal is just a short BTS ride or taxi journey away.
The journey covers 147 kilometres along Highway 3 (Sukhumvit Road) and typically takes 2 to 3 hours. During rush hour, on weekends, and on Thai public holidays, the journey can take longer due to traffic. All buses are air-conditioned.
In Pattaya, buses arrive at the terminal on North Pattaya Road. From here, take a baht bus (songthaew) or taxi to your hotel. Baht buses run frequently along Beach Road and Pattaya Second Road.
